Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and a member of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the new theater company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. She also served as a member of the SSC as producer as well as a costume/set design composer/music director, and text-coach and as the Artistic Director. Although she usually led from inside her ensemble of actors In her final year of work alongside SSC King Lear, she was promoted to director and lighting designer. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Other roles include a series of game show appearances. She is the daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two other siblings within Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she took classes and played soccer. The school she attended was Pomona College. In a private note, Post was previously married with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband from 1982. The couple has two daughters. She is a wonderful actress as well as the perfect mother and wife. Post is an inspiration for many who work in Hollywood.
